4W     - Sei, JA7LU will  be  active  again  as  4W/JA7LU  from  Timor-Leste
         (OC-148) on 4-9 September. He will be QRV on 40-10 metres  SSB  and
         RTTY, and will participate in the All Asian DX SSB  Contest  on  20
         metres. QSL via home call, direct only. [TNX DX World]
5H     - Chas, NK8O will be active in his spare time as  5H3DX  from  Zinga,
         Tanzania on 4-28 September. He  will  operate  mainly  CW  on  20-6
         meters ("I love to rag chew", he says, "if I am in the middle of  a
         QSO, please wait your turn and do not  interrupt").  QSL  via  NK8O
         (direct), LoTW and eQSL.
5W     - Robin, ZL4IG will be active  holiday  style  as  5W0RM  from  Upolu
         (OC-097), Samoa on 5-13 September. He will  operate  SSB  and  some
         QRS CW on 40-15 metres with QRP power. QSL via home call.
C6     - Randy, K5SL will be active as C6ASL from Grand Bahama  (NA-080)  on
         5-18 September. He will operate mainly CW with a focus  on  30,  17
         and 12 metres. QSL via home call.
D4     - Chris, DL2MDU and Heike, DL3HD will be active as D44TUK  and D44TUQ
         Respectively   from   Boa  Vista   (AF-086), Cape   Verde on  11-25
         September. They will operate CW and digital modes on 80-10  metres.

DL     - Members   of   the  DARC  Club  D22  are  active  as  DK0RBY   from
         Nationalpark Jasmund on Ruegen Island (EU-057) until  8  September.
         They operate SSB, CW and digital modes on the  HF  bands  and  will
         participate in the IARU Region 1 Field Day. QSL  via  bureau.  [TNX

F      - Special callsign TM50URA will  be  in  use  on  5-19  September  to
         celebrate the 50th anniversary of UNARAF,  the  National  Union  of
         French Blind Radioamateurs. QSL via F5ANZ. [TNX F8REF]
F      - Pascale F4HLR, Lionel F5HNQ and Pascal  F8CGL  will  be  active  as
         TM48B from Belle-Ile-en-Mer (EU-048) on 24-30 September. They  will
         operate mainly SSB on the  HF  bands.  QSL  via  F5HNQ,  direct  or

FO     - Used by F6AML from Mayotte back in  2006,  the  callsign  TX6A  has
         been reissued to Moto, JA1GZV for his current activity from  Tahiti
         (OC-046), French Polynesia. He has been active since  2  September,
         length of stay not known. QSL via JA1GZV.
GW     - Look for G4EDG, G4ELZ, G4GSA to be  active  as  GW4EDG/p,  GW4ELZ/p
         and GW4GSA/p from Flat Holm Island  (EU-124)  on  12-16  September.
         They will operate CW and digital modes on  40-17  metres.  QSL  via

I      - Operators from ARI Fidenza will be active as IO4ENG  and  IQ4FE  on
         12-25 September as part of  the  Enigma  Event,  one  of  the  many
         events organized  for  the  "European  Researchers'  Night".  Other
         participating stations include IO1ENG, IO2ENG, IQ1NM, IQ1SP,  IQ2VJ
         and IQ9MQ. Detailed information on the  event  and  the  associated

OH     - OH8MXL and other seven operators will  be  active  as  OH8T/p  from
         Hailuoto Island (EU-184) on 5-6 September for  the  IARU  Region  1
         Field Day (SSB). QSL via OH8T, direct or bureau. [TNX rsgbiota.org]
PY     - Six operators from the Para DX Group (www.paradxgroup.com) will  be
         active as PX8Z from Ilha de Cotijuba (SA-060) on  17-20  September.
         Plans are to be QRV on 40-6 metres CW, SSB and digital  modes.  QSL

S7     - With little over two months before their departure, the  S79C  team
         [425DXN  confirms that "plans are definite and large deposits  have
         already been paid to the relevant  departments.  We  have  obtained
         all necessary permits, both to  visit  and  operate  from  Coetivy"
         (AF-119, new one for IOTA), and all  individual  flights  have  now
         been booked. The whole team  will  meet  up  in  Mahe,  capital  of
         Seychelles, on 14-15 November, and leave for Coetivy on  the  16th.
         Plans are to have six stations  QRV  at  peak  times,  and  station
         design and antennas are currently being  discussed.  Donations  are
         gratefully  accepted,  because  "as  private  airplane  charter  is
         needed to access the island,  costs  are  terrifically  high".  See

SV    -  Look for SV8/OE3GEA to be active holiday  style from the island  of
         Santorini (EU-067) on 12-17 September.  He will operate CW only  on
         30-10 metres low power. QSL via home call. [TNX rsgbiota.org]
TF     - Ric DL2VFR, Friedrich DL4BBH and Klaus DL7UXG  will  be  active  as
         TF/homecalls from Iceland (EU-021) on  15-22  September.  Depending
         on weather and  road  conditions  they  will  operate  from  a  few
         all-time new World Wide Flora & Fauna  areas  (information  on  the
         WWFF programme can be found at www.wwff.co). There might be also  a
         short  visit  to  IOTA  group  EU-071    around    18    September.
         Additionally, during  their  outward  journey  they  will  stop  at
         Torshavn, Faroe Islands (EU-018), and might be QRV as  OY/homecalls

TI9    - Jorge, TI2HMJ arrived on Cocos Island (Isla del  Coco,  NA-012)  on
         31 August. It is his third visit to the island this  year,  but  it
         is not a DXpedition. He will be QRV  as  TI9/TI2HMJ  in  his  spare

VP9    - Dennis, K2SE will be active holiday style as K2SE/VP9 from  Bermuda
         (NA-005) on 12-19 September. He  will  operate  mainly  CW  with  a

YB    -  YB8RW's  planned   itinerary  (subject  to   change   depending  on
         transportation and local conditions)  for  his  IOTA  tour  [425DXN
         1269] includes:

ARCTIC TOUR ---> Vlad, UA4WHX has been active as  RI0POL  since  29  August.
This callsign is being used from the icebreaker MSV Mikhail Somov during her
Russian  Arctic  Coast Expedition along the Arctic Northern Sea Route. Go to
http://194.190.129.43/ships/index.html and  follow  the ship's course. On 31
August  Vlad  was  landed  by  helicopter  on  Kolguyev  Island (EU-085) and
operated as  RI1PV for about seven hours on 20 metres CW. Other callsigns to
be used during the expedition are:
- R11PVB, from the settlement  of  Amderma  (Nenets  Autonomous  Okrug)  and
"areas around";
- RI1OV, from "various islands in the  White  and  Barents  Sea",  including
Novaya Zemlya (EU-035) and the Morzhovets Islands (EU-119);

AS-203 ---> The RT9K/0  team  started  activity  from  Dobrzhanskogo  Island
(AS-203) on 1 September around 11.15 UTC on 20m CW.  They  are  experiencing
adverse weather conditions, but have been able to make more than 5,000  QSOs
so far. Also active from the same  island  is  UA0ZC/p.  The  logs  will  be
uploaded  to  Club  Log as  soon as  feasible. dUpdates are being  posted to

5N1UKO/5U ---> On 23 April 2015 5N1UKO was active as 5N1UKO/5U and  made  31
QSOs on 15 metres SSB, operating "from his mobile setup  at  a  construction
site in Zindar, Niger". His QSL manager, N0UN, also reports that Tola -  who
"has not submitted  any  paperwork  to  the  DXCC  Desk"  for  this  limited
operation - hopes "to have a 5U callsign granted in  the  near  future",  as
his work calls for him to go between Nigeria and Niger for the  next  twelve

CHESTERFIELD 2015 ---> 1,090 kg of TX3X equipment was processed through  New
Zealand Customs on 31 August and  is  now  at  the  equipment  consolidation
point in  Auckland.  Boat  loading  is  scheduled  for  13-15  September  at
Bayswater Marina, Auckland. [TNX K5GS]

ITU and IARU, Antarctic bases &  TAAF  (Terres  Australes  and  Antarctiques

QSL VIA RW6HS ---> RW6HS is the QSL manager for D0B, D1A, D1DNR  and  D1DPR.
These are located in the "Donetsk People's Republic", an unrecognized  state
based in the Donetsk oblast of Ukraine. DXCC wise,  it  is  not  a  separate
Entity as it does not meet the current DXCC Criteria.

VK0EK NEWSLETTER ---> The Heard Island Expedition Newsletter  [425DXN  1258]
contains inside information  about  the  expedition,  the  radio  operation,
personal information  about  the  participants,  developing  ideas  for  new
technology, environmental science on Heard Island,  special  images,  and  a
variety of other exclusive information that will not  be  available  on  the
