Island, Lakshadweeps (AS-011) since around 18.30 UTC on 30 November
(i.e. on 1 December at noon local time). They have been required to
sign VU7LD/homecall, but this is not an Andaman-like activity
(different operations under different callsigns, with different QSL
routes and different QSL cards): so there is no need to work
multiple VU7LD/hc's on the same band and mode, as they would be
duplicate QSOs. Suggested frequencies are as follows:
Band CW SSB RTTY SSTV PSK

NOT THE MANAGER ---> Pierre, F6CXJ is receiving a large number of bureau
cards for TZ9A, but he is not the QSL manager for Chris. Cards should be sent
to Christian Saint-Arroman, Chemin de Mousteguy, 64990 Urcuit, France.

QSL 4O3T ---> The QSL cards for the International DX Festival Montenegro 2006
are being distributed right now. If you do not receive your card(s) by 20
December, please contact Ranko, YT6A (yt310sky@yahoo.com). [TNX YT6A]

QSL 5V7SE ---> Gabriele, IK3GES reports receiving direct card requests for
Elvira, 5V7SE that include "old style" IRCs expiring on 31 December. Please
note that if Gabriele can get the logs before the end of the year, these
requests will be hounoured, otherwise they will be replied to via the bureau.

QSL R7C ---> The correct QSL route is not via RW3GW, but HQ Academy & Found
"The World Encyclopedia of Travel", P.O. Box 2007, Moscow, 101000, Russia.
Cards can also be sent via the bureau. [TNX RW3GW]

QSL VIA TA3YJ ---> Nilay reports having problems with the incoming QSL
bureau. She has not received any card for several months now; should you be
in urgent need of a card, she recommends to go direct. The current status of
the incoming/outgoing QSL traffic handled by Nilay can be found at
http://www.geocities.com/qslservice/ta3yj

VQ9JC ---> Jim, VQ9JC (ND9M) expects to leave Diego Garcia on 5 December for
a four-month holiday with his wife in Florida. He should return to VQ9 in
April 2007 for another four-month tour. "I've been active from VQ9 for eight
months out of the past year", he says, "and so far logged 26,000 QSOs. CW
accounts for 85%, with SSB at 13%, and 2% were using digital modes. About 40%
have been on 20m, 20% were on 15m, and another 20% were split between 30 and
40m. Considering what propagation conditions have been like, I'm quite
pleased with the results". All direct mail QSLs received at his Florida QTH
as of 10 November have been answered. The requests received after that date
will be answered when Jim gets home. Bureau cards received as of 10 November
have also been processed and will be mailed to the Outgoing Bureau. All QSL
requests go via ND9M.
