(NA-088) from 12 October to 2 November. He plans to operate as

S7 - Leo, IZ5FSA (S79LL) and Stefano, IW5DPF (S79SO) will be active from
Praslin Island (AF-024) on 14-19 October [425DXN 857], while Luca,
I5IHE (S79LC) will be there from the 14th to the 27th. On-line logs

SP - Scout station HF100SK will be active until 31 December from
Skierniewice, Poland in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the

SU - Special event station SU50JOTA will be active on 20-21 October from
the International Scout Centre in Cairo for the JOTA Golden Jubilee.
Expect activity on 15, 17, 20, 40 and 80 metres CW and SSB. Team
members include SU1GS, SU1SA, SU1AO, SU1KM, SU1KA, SU9NC and SU1SK.

TA - TA2IJ reports he will operate CW and SSB as TC84IJ until 21 October
to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. QSL via

VU - Look for special callsign AT0MWG to be aired on CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK
until 21 October for the 4th Military World Games
(http://www.mwg2007.org/) to be held in Mumbai and Hyderabad, India.

W - Rudi, KF4OM and Larry, KG4LCF will be active as K4P from Pigeon Key

YK - Syrian operators have been authorized to use a special prefix (6C60)
from 15 October to 15 November to celebrate the 60th anniversary of
amateur radio in their Country. [TNX The Daily DX]
JOTA ---> The Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) is an annual event in which about
500,000 Scouts and Guides all over the world make contacts with each other by
means of amateur radio. The 50th JOTA (http://www.scout.org/jota) will be
held on 19-21 October. This golden-jubilee event is two hours longer than
usual, and it will run from 19 October 22.00h local time to 21 October 24.00h
local time.

9U0A ---> 9U0A went QRT on 9 October at 4 UTC after some 33,504 QSOs (22609
CW, 7195 SSB, 3296 RTTY, 349 PSK31, 50 SSTV, 5 WSJT). "We regret that we
couldn't be more active on 160m (and 80m)", they say, "but we have had
thunderstorms almost every day. This was the worst QRN we have ever
experienced on any of our DXpeditions which made reception almost

postal workers, all post to the UK will be severley delayed until further
