FO0 - Extreme heat alternating to heavy rain caused the TX5C team to
become QRV from Clipperton later than expected. The first QSO was
logged at 00.28 UTC on 9 March. The team experienced very difficult
conditions on the island. Multiple major thunderstorms caused
several problems and damages - the generators went down, the 15m
SVDA at the SSB camp was destroyed, two CW keyers and two amplifiers
died. Operations are now due to stop at local dawn on 15 March, a
couple of days earlier than planned. Sunrise at Clipperton is around
13.30 UTC. The on-line log now contains 59,669 QSOs (latest update
13 March at 23.43). The website for the expedition is at
         http://www.clipperton2008.org

(via IZ8FAV) and II9ICF (via IT9MRM) - all representing former coast
radio stations of the Italian Navy - will be active on 22-30 March
for the Italian Navy Coastal Radio Stations Award
         (http://digilander.libero.it/assoradiomarinai/coastal08/home.htm).
         [TNX IT9MRM]

         Daily DX]
OZ - Ben, DO1BEN will be active as OZ/DO1BEN from Lolland Island (EU-029)
on 22-28 March. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX

digital modes on 20, 40 and 80 metres, plus 10 and 6 metres SSB if
the bands are open. All of the QSOs will be confirmed automatically
