MARITIME DX FORUM ---> The Halifax Amateur Radio Club (HARC) invites DXers,
contesters and HF enthusiasts to the V Annual Maritime DX Forum (MDF). It
will be held on 22 August in Halifax, Nova Scotia as part of HARC's 75th
anniversary celebration Ham Fest (21-24 August). Please visit www.harc75.org
for complete details, or contact Scott Wood, VE1QD (ve1qd@rac.ca). [TNX
VE1QD]

TC0W ---> The TC0W team made 10,752 QSOs (56% CW and 44% SSB) during their
7-11 June operation from Kefken Island (AS-159). Pictures, log search and
on-line form for bureau card requests can be found at
http://www.okdxf.eu/expedice/tc0w/en/

VP6DX ---> A comprehensive report on the VP6DX QSLling status can be found on
the DXpedition's website (www.vp6dx.com). The press release covers the
following areas:
- QSL card design
- QSL processing status
- Donors without callsigns in the database
- Instructions for donors who have made an on-line QSL request, but have not
  received LOTW credit
- List of donors without callsigns as of 2008 June 16 Monday
Whilst the VP6DX bureau QSLs will be normal cards with colour photographs,
the direct-mail "card" will be a 36-page booklet, containing over 80 colour
photos and maps. On 13 June more than 500 kg (1100 lb) of cards were shipped
to the QSL processing team, and should arrive around the end of this week.
Everyone who requests a QSL will receive both a card and a LOTW confirmation,
but QSL requests are prioritized in groups:
- QSL requests for QSOs that match the VP6DX log exactly have priority over
  requests that require manual research,
- QSL requests submitted through the Online QSL Request System (OQRS) have
priority over requests received via postal mail,
- requests from donors have priority over requests from non-donors.
Please note that 1086 donors have not provided their callsigns, and their QSL
requests cannot be processed. The list of donors with missing callsign is
available on the website; if you find yourself listed there, send your
callsign via the "Contact Us" menu option.
