First licensed in 1977 as G8PQH, activity has peaked and dipped over the years,

Originally mainly active on 144MHz SSB now to be found ocassionaly popping up on 144 and 432MHz FM as well as HF SSB and PSK31

Current rigs include homebuilt Elecraft K2/100 kit and TS520SE for HF, IC 575 for 50MHz and FT7800 VHF/UHF FM mobile

Elecraft K2/100

I built my Elecraft K2 Serial number 2065 quite a few years ago and later added the 100W amplifier so now i looks like this!

HF Anenna is an inverted L at about 35ft tuned by a CG3000 ATU for multiband service. Heres me clutching aforesaid tuner!

and a crafty peek nside the unit. Seems to do the job, at least up to 200W, though the case could be a bit more sturdy.

Looking forward to working you!
