Frederik, ON8ZL and Peter, ON8ZZ will be active on Jersey, Channel Islands from 24th of July untill 28th of July2015. We try to active all HF-bands using SSB - CW and several digital modes.

If conditions and time permits, I'll try to activatethe sixmeter-band.

A contact with us is also valid for the WLOTA-award. It's valid for Jersey Mainland Lighthouses N0818 and La Corbire Ligthouse N3219 (96 % wanted). It's also valid for the ARLHS - La Corbiere Lighthouse JER-001.

Listen during the week-end of 25-26 of July 2015 to GJ2A. Frederik, ON8ZL will be participating in the IOTA-contest "Single-Operator Assisted Mixed Mode-category"with GJ2A.

QSL-cardprocedure is as follows.

  • Bureau-cards can be sent via ON8ZL. I will confirm all contacts via bureau after our trip.
  • Direct-cards can be sent to our adress as shown above.
    Direct-cards must include a Self-Adressed Envelope (SAE) + 2 US Dollars.

    For the first year, you'll be able to request your QSL-card via the OQRS-service from Clublog.

OT9Z is the station, vanity call sign used by myself ON8ZZ Peter and my twins ON8ZL Frederik and ON3JA Dominiek

Transceivers : Kenwood TS-2000X and TH-F7E, Yaesu FT-1000MP MARK-V Field, FT-857D and FT-817ND and Wouxun KG-UV2D (max 50W if ON3JA is operator!)

Antennas : Fritzel FD-4 on the roof of our appartment building +/- 15m, I3VHF Magnetic Loop, Diamond X200N, 20 element yagi (23cm) and 80 cm dish (3cm) on the balcony of our appartment at the fourth floor +/- 12,5m (East-South-West)

On the field (mostly activating WFF ONFF) : testing the Yaesu FT-857D and FT-817ND with the Buddipole, slooper and G5RV 6-band
